• As you are probably aware the United States Postal Service (USPS) has announced a rate change effective May 12th, 2008.
• Your Micro General/Advantus scale will be need to be updated, via shipped rate change chip downloaded from our site, or if your needs have changed, upgrade to a scale model that fits your current and future needs more effectively while also bringing you into compliance with the new USPS mandated rate structures.
• Please be on the lookout for your New USPS 2008 Rate Change Order form that was mailed to you on Monday, April 9th. If you haven't received yours by Tuesday April 17th, 2008 please e-mail or call us to let us know.

How to order Your Rate Changes

• Identify through the rate chip photographs, the EXACT model of the rate needed for your scale.
• Once identified, point and click on the matching part number in our store display. This will bring you to our interactive ordering page.
• Follow the store prompts to complete your order and click Submit.

NEW 2008 USPS DOWNLOAD RATE ENGINE TO BE ACTIVATED ON May 12th, 2008FOR YOUR CONVENIENCE. ONCE DOWNLOADED THE NEW RATES DO NOT HAVE TO BE ACTIVATED IN YOUR SCALE UNTIL JUST PRIOR TO MAY 14, 2008. SO BEWARE OF THE FACT THAT YOU DON’T WANT TO CHANGE YOUR RATES UNTIL ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY.
IF YOU LOSE, MISPLACE, OR HAVE A PC MALFUNCTION DAMAGING YOUR DOWNLOADED RATES PRIOR TO THE RATE CHANGES YOU WILL BE CHARGED FOR ANOTHER DOWNLOAD OF RATES SHOULD YOU NEED TO COME BACK TO US FOR ANOTHER DOWNLOAD OF THESE NEW USPS RATES.
WHEN THE RATE CHANGE ENGINE IS ACTIVATED YOU WILL NEED TO :

• Click on the appropriate scale download product at the store
• Purchase the downloadable file and complete the purchase.
• Once the file has been purchased, you'll be able to download the file directly from the store site.
